About the project:
Within this sector we highlight the project carried out in GUCO, an animal food factory that belongs to Grupo ARCOIRIS. Our engineer team took over the plant automation, replacing the legacy system based on wired logic with a new system based on programmable logical controllers. It entailed an important engineering effort, but the plant was finally provided with all the necessary equipment.
We designed and configured a network with multiple SIMATIC S7 PLC by SIEMENS that took care of the different stages of the process, we programmed an implemented an iFIX SCADA for monitoring and controlling the plant and we also programmed a custom software to integrate the formulation and to print recipes using Microsoft Access
